The Church of St. James the Apostle (Chiesa di San Giacomo Apostolo) is located in La Colla di Branzone, a small village in the municipality of Valmozzola, surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of the Parma Apennines.
Dating from the 17th–18th centuries, the church is an interesting example of traditional mountain religious architecture. Built with local stone, it features a Greek-cross layout, side chapels and a vaulted ceiling.
The building reflects the history and religious traditions of the small rural communities of the Mozzola Valley. Its quiet location, surrounded by woodland and mountain scenery, makes it a pleasant stop for visitors exploring Valmozzola.
