Museo Agorà Orsi Coppini – Olive Oil Museum in San Secondo Parmense

Located in San Secondo Parmense, the Museo Agorà Orsi Coppini is a fascinating museum dedicated to the history, culture and traditional production of olive oil.

Founded in 2009 by the Coppini family, the museum is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century dairy building, surrounded by the peaceful countryside of the Bassa Parmense.

Visitors can discover ancient olive presses, traditional production equipment and historical tools illustrating the evolution of olive oil extraction over the centuries.

The museum also offers guided tours, educational workshops and extra virgin olive oil tastings, providing an opportunity to learn how to recognise quality olive oil and appreciate its role in Mediterranean cuisine.

Outside, the Agorà among the Olive Trees is an open-air amphitheatre used for concerts, cultural events and performances.

The museum is an interesting destination for visitors wishing to explore Italian food traditions, agricultural history and the gastronomic heritage of Parma.
